Andy Gray in joyous Rangers title boast as 'neutral' Richard Keys has him in fits of laughter

Ecstatic Rangers fanatic Andy Gray believes his boyhood team are "well on their way" to lifting the Scottish Premiership title after Celtic's latest slip-up.

The Ibrox diehard spent one season with the club he loves as a player and remains an avid follower of Steven Gerrard 's side as they continue to leave their rivals in their wake.

And Gray sees no reason why Rangers won't keep going as they aim to deny their rivals the chance to win 10 In A Row.

His beIN Sports pal Richard Keys turned to his colleague for an update after a day of high drama from Scotland.

Gray said: "Rangers won, handsomely, against Ross County, who just beat Celtic, that was very good result, it extended our lead.

But when Keys then asked how things were going for Neil Lennon 's side, he had bad news to report.

He added: "Well, Lenny's having a bit of a problem, they only drew 1-1 with St Johnstone at Celtic Park."

And Keys, who made clear to stress his neutrality asked how far ahead the Ibrox side are after another dismal day in Glasgow.

He added: "13 points, 13 points. Well on the way."

And his on-air sparring partner asking if he was "happy", led to an amusing repsonse.

Gray added: "I'm ecstatic, yes, of course I am (fits of laughter".
