Andy Carroll has once again praised "Agent Ritchie" after the arrival of Eddie Howe at St. James' Park.
The former Newcastle United striker posted a link back to a video in 2020, whereby Matt Ritchie is sitting alongside Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser in a restaurant.
With speculation rife over Ritchie's future - and rumours over a possible return to Bournemouth - Carroll hilariously quashed those rumours with an Instagram video as the pair sat alongside the two new signings.
On the video Carroll says: "Ritchie to Bournemouth? Don't think so. We'll bring Bournemouth the Ritchie."

Soccer AM have dug up the old video and told Carroll to add Howe to that list.
Carroll responded with flame emojis and has since recaptioned the video "The Ritchie effect" on his story combined with the words "Toon, Toon."
The Scottish international has already heaped praise on Howe prior to his appointment, stating he'd be the right man to improve the current squad and guide them away from the relegation zone.
Howe has of course also worked alongside Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser during their time on the south coast.
