Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale split?

Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale split?

Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale have reportedly split up again.

The 36-year-old old Dagenham and Redbridge soccer player and the 41-year-old influencer recently enjoyed a romantic getaway but they are now said to have ended their romance, for the second time in just three weeks.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Andy likes to live a simple life.

"Time away in fancy hotels that look great for Instagram don't suit him. They're boring with no atmosphere.

"It flagged their differences once again.

“No one can say they haven't tried. They were desperate to fit into each other's worlds but just couldn't make it work."

The pair recently posted loved up pictures on Instagram but have now unfollowed each other on the social media platform.

The latest split will come as a surprise as Andy recently insisted he was desperate to make the relationship work.

He previously told The Sun on Sunday: “I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.

“Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce.

“Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life. We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties.”

The pair began dating last year after he separated from his TOWIE star wife Billi Mucklow last September.

However, Lou and Andy’s romance was first reported to be on the rocks in June, when they had an argument at a restaurant in Mykonos, Greece.

A joint statement from the couple, given to The Sun following the incident, said: “Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.

“We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us.

“As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything.

“We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.”
