Andrew Waterworth appears to have ended all speculation about his future by agreeing a new deal with Linfield .
The striker - who has scored 29 goals in all competitions this season - is set to sign a new two-year contract with the Blues.
Waterworth was on target in Friday night's 1-0 win over Ballymena United which effectively sealed a 53rd title for the Windsor Park club.
"Speaking after the game, boss David Healy said: "Andy does what Andy does, and that's score big goals in important games.
"He did it again tonight, but he has done it on countless occasions this season."
Waterworth was due to come out of contract this summer and was being linked with a number of clubs including Ballymena, Glenavon and newly-promoted Larne.
