Andrew Maxwell, Jason Byrne and Phill Jupitus confirmed for next month’s Bray Comedy Festival

It’s hard to believe, we know, but Dublin doesn’t have a monopoly on great comedy.

Just down the road, Bray Comedy Festival is in its sixth year, with the cream of the Irish crop pencilled in for some more belly laughs by the sea.

Running from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th February, the line-up is headed by Andrew Maxwell – fresh from the jungle! – Jason Byrne and All Stars Comedy Improv, who will be joined by special guest Phill Jupitus (Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI, Live at The Apollo).

Also appearing in venues around Bray will be Enya Martin’s ‘Giz a Laugh’, cult comic Tony Cantwell, the acerbic David McSavage, Karl Spain, Bingo Loco, Ed Sammon, kids’ magic with Jamie Skelton and Ireland’s Best New Act Competition.

Meanwhile Thursday night’s ‘Big Gig’ will see Ian Coppinger, John Colleary and Al Foran joined by a very special surprise guest – we’re promised a member of ‘Ireland’s comedy elite’, which makes this one of the hottest tickets of the entire festival.

Whichever show takes your fancy, expect to be left Braying with laughter!
