A cyclist who hit a toddler and dragged her 12 feet along the pavement has admitted dangerous cycling in court.
The incident made headlines after the cyclist, 24-year-old Andrew Holland, was caught on camera hitting three-year-old Lucie Wilding while on his bike and dragging her down the pavement.
Holland left the scene in Blackpool after the crash, but was identified after Lucie's mother, Lauren Howarth, posted images of him from the family's CCTV camera on social media.
Holland was ordered to pay £829 in fines and costs by magistrates at Lancaster Magistrates Court.
Lucie suffered scrapes, bruises and bumps to her head, and the court heard that she still suffers from anxiety and trauma after the event.
As reported by the BBC, her mother said: "There was just blood all down the side of her face and she was just screaming, just screaming."

"It was awful. All she was doing was just stepping outside her front gate. Never for one minute would I ever think that a cyclist would hit my daughter on the pavement."
Mr Holland has previously said his life had been "destroyed" following the release of the footage, and says he did not know that it is against the law to cycle on the pavement.
