Andrew Garfield among celebs looking worse for wear leaving GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Some of the biggest names in showbiz embarked on the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park on Wednesday for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards.

And as they piled out of the after party, it appeared as though some stars had certainly made the most of the occasion.

Spiderman star Andrew Garfield looked dapper in a black suit with a crisp white shirt and black tie with small white spots. But as he exited the event he certainly appeared to have enjoyed his night while looking ready for the exit.

John Boyega also appeared ready for home as he piled himself into one of the waiting cabs. The Star Wars actor previously spoke about how he's not a party animal and doesn't drink and he definitely looked ready to call it a night on the shenanigans as he was snapped.

Elsewhere, Salma Hayek headed for the getaway cars still looking glam in her gorgeous red dress. However, the smile certainly wasn't shining as brightly as earlier in the night.

The 56-year-old opted for a floor-length plunging crimson gown for the event. It was cinched in at the waist, leaving very little to the imagination, and attention was drawn to her cleavage thanks to a bow detail.

Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney looked as though she could continue the shindig as she left with a beaming smile. Not appearing to be outdone by the miserable weather, the 25-year-old, who is set to play Barbarella in an upcoming film, was all smiles as she ducked under an umbrella to brave the elements.

Irish singer Dermot Kennedy also protected his purple hair from the rain as someone else held an umbrella for him. As he headed for the exit, he looked ready to call it a night after the star-studded bash with his eyes looking very weary.

He had opened up last month about being misunderstood in some quarters, saying he's actually a joker despite people thinking he's "mad serious".

Earlier in the night, stars took to the red carpet before the event got underway. Among them was James McAvoy, who cut a handsome figure wearing a suit and bow-tie. He attended the event with his younger sister Joy McAvoy who looked stylish in a short black dress which was complete with a diamanté trim.
