Andrew Dickson set to exit Rangers as Ibrox executive reshuffle continues

The new chairman of Rangers, John Bennett, continues his executive reshuffle as finance director Andrew Dickson is shown the door.

Dickson had served three decades at Rangers after joining the account department in 1991. He dedicated his time to the club after first being hired by former Ibrox chief Sir David Murray, and became director of finance and football administration years later.

Now, his time at the club will soon come to an end as he becomes the fifth high-profile exit in the past month. The Record Sport reports that talks between the parties are ongoing but the process is expected to see him depart from the club imminently.

The news of Dickson's departure comes just a week after Stewart Robertson confirmed his exit as the clubs managing director.

Former chairman Douglas Park and sporting director Ross Wilson have too stepped down from their senior positions. New chairman John Bennett has appointed marketing chief James Bisgrove as new managing director following Robertson's departure in the summer.

The new boardroom boss is now searching for a new academy director after Tuesday's announcement that Craig Mulholland will also be stepping down after his 20 year association with the club.

Dickson was promoted to the role of head of football administration in 2003 and has also held a variety of SFA and SPFL board slots.
