Andreas Pereira shares cryptic message after Manchester United beat Norwich

Andreas Pereira uploaded a cryptic message to his Instagram story after Manchester United beat Norwich at Old Trafford.

United recorded their first win of 2020 at the fourth attempt on Saturday afternoon, with a Marcus Rashford brace and goals from Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood securing all three points.

Pereira started for the fifth time in six games and gave an accomplished performance after disappointing in Tuesday's derby defeat by Manchester City.

The Brazilian was deployed in a deeper midfield role against City and was horribly exposed. His performance was summed up by an own-goal towards the end of the first half.

Pereira was more comfortable in an advanced position against Norwich.

Taking to social media after the game, Pereira shared an image of himself from the pre-match warm-up alongside the caption 'Let them talk' and a shushing emoji.

Of all the players in United's squad, Pereira takes more flak than most and the majority of United supporters recently voted in favour of him being sold in an MEN poll.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Pereira's performance against Norwich, telling MUTV: "I thought Andreas started off really, really well for us."
