Andreas Pereira in Manchester United fail as he scores spectacular social media own goal

"Can you tweet something like..."

Those five words that still leave Victor Anichebe sweating.

The former Sunderland striker famously forgot to delete the advice included in his copy and paste Twitter message to supporters after a defeat in 2016.

It's been three years since that ultimate social media warning sign to players but that doesn't mean the advice has been heeded.

And now Manchester United star Andreas Pereira has netted a spectacular own goal ahead of his side's game against Everton .

He uploaded a social media image previewing the big game but he got his matches mixed up as the graphic is in reference to next week's opponents Watford.

It's not a great look especially considering the feel-good factor surrounding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's side after three wins on the spin in all comeptitions.

And the image remains on the player's page despite supporters digging him up over the error ahead of today's Premier League .

Gav Roberts said: "I like your enthusiasm, but let's focus on today's match against Everton first."

Hacker added: "Give Watford a break."
