Andreas Pereira hits back at Manchester United fans after Twitter abuse

Andreas Pereira has hit back at two Manchester United supporters on social media who criticised his level of performance.

The Brazilian midfielder was involved in a Twitter altercation on Monday night after two fans had replied to a tweet questioning his ability.

Pereira initially took to Twitter on Monday to complain about the Call of Duty online servers writing: "warzone server whats (sic) happening.." followed by an upside down face emoji.

This drew a response from an online user who wrote: "probably performing like how you do on the pitch," to which Pereira hit back with: "nobody cares what u (sic) tweet."

Pereira's defence then drew another reply from a fan who didn't approve of his actions, writing: "Too loud for a player that's played in 8 different positions and served up nothing in any of them. Hope this helps."

The United man wasn't done there though, and replied to the fresh response adding: "Nobody cares what u (sic) tweet either.. smh (shaking my head). Hopes this helps," followed by a facepalm emoji.

Pereira has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford which has seen him make 39 appearances across all competitions for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though he's lost his regular spot in the team in recent weeks due to the emergence of Bruno Fernandes.
