Andreas Christensen insists he's had no thoughts of leaving Chelsea, assuring he "loves" the club.
The Denmark international has reestablished himself in the first-team under Frank Lampard after his opportunities were limited under former manager Maurizio Sarri.
That lead to mounting speculation that the 24-year-old could leave the club, but while Christensen admits life under Sarri was difficult at times, he never wanted to leave.
And the defender is keen to extend his current contract.
"I've never looked anywhere else," Christensen told Sky Sports. "I've never doubted my situation. I've always had my eyes at Chelsea.
"I've had my contract and I've always expected to finish that and I've always dreamed of even more than that. Nothing has changed.
"Obviously it was a different situation last season but I still love being here, that's the short answer."
And with two high-profile signings to add to the squad, with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner arriving this summer, Chelsea re looking a real threat ahead of next season.
"I played against Werner quite a few times when I was in Germany so I know what he can do and what sort of player he is,’ Christensen told Chelsea's official website.
"I haven’t played against Ziyech but I’ve seen him a lot and I think they can both bring good things to the club. We’re all excited to see what they can bring."
