Andrea Radrizzani's simple message to Leeds United fans following Wigan defeat

The sun may be out and it may be a long Bank Holiday weekend, but Leeds United fans are currently dwelling over the Good Friday defeat to Wigan which has left their side outside the automatic promotion places.

The 2-1 Elland Road reverse to the Latics, combined with Sheffield United's win over Nottingham Forest earlier in the day means that the two Yorkshire sides have swapped places yet again, with the initiative now being handed to the Blades with just three games of the season remaining.

Marcelo Bielsa admitted the severity of the defeat following the final whistle at Elland Road.

"This is a very serious wound in the worst moment.

"And the only relief that we can get is to get promoted. What we’ve done so far is not enough. It's clear that it's not enough. That's why we need to have more strength in a moment of mental weakness that was not expected.

"This is the challenge for all of us. Especially me because I’m the head coach and three hours ago I have been described as the maker of this reality and therefore this new reality, that is different from the reality before the game is also my responsibility."

And while Bielsa gets to work on planning how to see off Brentford on Easter Monday, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has taken to social media to share a simple message with the Leeds fans.

'Till the end,' he posted on Twitter. 'FAITH'.

The Italian's bible quotation will have Leeds supporters hoping to see an Easter Monday resurrection of the club's automatic promotion hopes, with the hope being that Sheffield United will slip up in their 3pm kick-off at Hull City, while Leeds take the spoils at Griffin Park in the day's tea-time kick-off.
