Andrea Radrizzani's reaction to Bundesliga return as one man grabs Leeds United fans' attention

Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has saluted the return of football in Germany, calling it 'an important step'.

This Bundesliga played their first matches for more than two months on Saturday afternoon, with matches taking place behind closed doors and observing social distancing where possible.

Radrizzani, who hails from one of the regions of Italy that was hardest hit by the pandemic ensured that his club acted early in locking down their Thorp Arch training ground and now, like the rest of us, is hopeful that a return to normality has begun.

"Finally football is back," he tweeted. "Important first step to be back to a normal life."

Leeds United fans, who have been starved of football since they saw their side defeat Huddersfield Town 2-0 on March 7, tuned into the action, with a familiar name grabbing their attention.

Leeds-born Erling Haaland has been one of the stories of the season and his blistering goalscoring form continued, as he scored the first goal of the restart in Borussia Dortmund derby clash against Schalke.

Here's what Leeds fans made of Erling's performance and of the return of the Bundesliga...

Dortmund would end up winning 4-0 to close the gap to leaders Bayern Munich to one point.
