Andrea Radrizzani guarantees major switch if Leeds United go up

Andrea Radrizzani has revealed the promise he and his wife have made with one another if Leeds United get promoted.

One of the opening scenes of the Take Us Home Amazon series explained the Leeds chairman’s background in business and how he amassed his fortune.

The Milan-born media mogul reveals how long he’s been away from home, and where he’s conducting his business from at.

Despite being a regular at Elland Road, Radrizzani is currently based back in his hometown, but he’s revealed he and his family will make the move to Leeds if the club gets promoted.

“I’ve been away for more than 15 years,” he said.

“This year I decided to come back for one year in Milan to stay here with my family so my son can learn Italian and go to school here, the first year of school.

“My family’s here in Milan, up and down between London, Leeds and Milan. We have a deal with my wife that if we get promoted, we’ll move to Leeds for one year.”

Radrizzani first purchased a 50 per cent stake in Leeds from his compatriot Massimo Cellino in January 2017, before completing a full takeover a few months later.

Leeds finished 13th in his first full season at the helm, before appointing Marcelo Bielsa and finishing third in 2018/19.

All six episodes of the series have been released and are available to stream.
