Leeds United have been partying for more than a fortnight now.
Promotion to the Premier League was confirmed on Friday July 17, the title the very next day. A win at Derby County was then followed by the trophy presentation after beating Charlton. The next evening saw the club's annual awards ceremony, which provided another excuse to celebrate their long-awaited return to the Premier League.
Struggling to keep up? The players and staff at the club certainly aren't, but if West Yorkshire's alcohol supply was starting to run dry this week, then chairman Andrea Radrizzani can step in, after Angus Kinnear finally allowed the Italian to open a 2017 birthday present that was being saved for this very week.
Speaking at the Elland Road end-of-season do that saw Pablo Hernandez crown the club's Player of the Year, Kinnear revealed that Radrizzani was presented with a gift during his first year at the club that was only to be opened after promotion was achieved.
"After years of I think what could be best described as mediocre ownership we have someone who is who is a leader, he is a custodian, he believes in the future of the club in the long term," Kinnear said, paying tribute to the 45-year-old.
"He believes in Leeds United becoming a family, but for me it is his relentless ambition, his relentless belief, his relentless optimsim. Every time I said 'if' we get promoted he has corrected me and said 'when' we get promoted. He has believed in the team and we're all here and we've achieved because of his commitment both financially and personally
"Three years ago when we first started it was his birthday and we bought him a gift. It was a gift on which we inscribed upon the words 'only to be opened on promotion.' We've got that gift now."
A huge Nebuchadnezzar bottle of Tattinger champagne was then brought up on stage.

"There is absolutely no way Klichy can drink all that," Kinnear quipped, following the Pole's enthusiastic celebrations over the past week.
"This is deserved from Andrea, for your ambition. He is even more ambitious for the future.
"In terms of going forward we know there are significant challenges in the Premier League but we should go into it with no fear. We should go into it with a confidence. We should be bold, we should be ambitions and we need to tear the league up and show them exactly why they've missed Leeds United."
Other winners at the ceremony included Ben White, who picked up the Young Player of the Season award, Stuart Dallas who was voted Players' Player of the Year and Luke Ayling, who's strike against Huddersfield Town won the Goal of the Season gong.
