Andrea Radrizzaini pictured at PSG's Champions League clash as QSI investment reports continue

Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani took in Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League win over Club Bruges last night amid a further batch of investment reports.

A report in French outlet L'Equipe on Wednesday claimed that PSG owners Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) remain interested in buying a stake in Leeds from Radrizzani, which came after the Italian gave an interview confirming that QSI are one of three credible potential investors in the club.

“There are real discussions but it’s advancing slowly,” said report cited a QSI source as saying. “But it could all accelerate tomorrow...” it continued before Radrizzani was pictured taking in the 1-0 victory as a guest of PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi with former France president Nicolas Sarkozy also in attendance

The Times have an update on Thursday morning claiming that Radrizzani and Al-Khelaifi were set to undergo further talks, with QSI said to see Leeds as a potential longer-term project where an initial minority stake could happen ahead of a full takeover.

Following a spate of reports this summer, Radrizzani went on the record for the first time regarding QSI last month, suggesting Leeds could 'get to the level of Man City' with some sort of investment.

PSG, who booked their place in the Champions League knock-out stages with the win last5 night, have won six Ligue 1 title since being taken over by QSI, spending hundreds of millions on players such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

L’Equipe’s report suggests that QSI view the club as “an opportunity, it’s interesting and it’s a big name in English football that we can help develop and bring back (to the Premier League)” and “a very beautiful brand with which we can recreate a story”. A value of €60m to €80m is said to have been placed on the club.
