André Rieu forced to apologise as he surprises This Morning viewers with sweary outburst

André Rieu quickly apologised as he let out a swear word on This Morning.

The violinist and conductor was on the ITV show on Tuesday to chat to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

André joined the pair in the studio to chat about his 2022 tour and his new album when the presenters asked him to delve into his pasts.

Holly, 40, asked him about the music teachers he used to have when he was younger, one of whom he was "in love" with, and another that he wasn't as fond of.

André said: "My first teacher was an 18-year-old blonde girl. I was five, and I fell in love with her immediately so it helped a lot."

‘You had two teachers didn’t you? The other one you didn’t like very much,’ Holly asked, before explaining how it was his piano teacher who he had lessons with at a castle.

"I hated her and I hated her castle. I hated the piano," the 72-year-old said before adding: "She was a b***h."

Holly began to giggle and cover her face while Phillip burst out laughing.

The hosts both swiftly apologised for the swearing blunder, as did André himself.

But This Morning viewers saw the funny side.
