An emotional Andre Gomes has thanked Evertonians and fans of other clubs for their support as he begins rehab on his broken ankle.
The club have been inundated with letters, emails and gifts for the Portuguese midfielder after he suffered the horror injury against Spurs earlier this month.

Gomes underwent successful surgery on the fracture dislocation and has started the long rehabilitation process at Finch Farm.
Everton are hoping he may yet still play some part again this season.
And helping keep Gomes as he sets out on the long road to recovery have been the messages of support he has received.
Gomes told evertonfc.com: "It's almost impossible to put into words.

"I feel emotional and sensitive because of what you have done for me. I just need to thank you all. It's emotion. And I will be back stronger for sure. To everyone, thank you."
One fan has written to the 26-year-old to reveal, in his anger at seeing Gomes hurt, he kicked a table a broke a toe.
