Harlequins are hoping it won’t be long until new signings Andre Esterhuizen and Wilco Louw make their debuts.

Quins signed the South Africa pair earlier this year, but they have not joined up with the squad due to visa issues caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Centre Esterhuizen and prop Louw, however, are now in the UK and they will join up with the squad once they have finished quarantining.

“We have got a couple of our signings that we signed in the summer that have arrived,” said Harlequins head of rugby Paul Gustard.

“They’ve finally got their visas and they’re in the country. They will be making their Premiership bows before too long.

“Wilco and Andre are both over in the country now. That’s awesome. There is a period to serve in terms of quarantine.

“Then it is down to us about when we choose to play them.”

Harlequins are back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Worcester and Gustard has urged his side to bounce back after losing to Saracens on Saturday.

“We need to go to Worcester and get a result,” he said.

“We need to get something from the game. We’ve got a game plan that we think will function against them. We have got to live it and deliver it.”
