Andi Peters crashes off screen in the middle of interview live on Lorraine

Andi Peters ended up crashing off-screen live in the middle of an interview on Lorraine today.

The 50-year-old presenter got into a bit of trouble with his umbrella as he spoke from the windy Scottish Highlands.

Speaking to John from the National Trust in Glenfinnan, Andi was seen struggling with his umbrella as he said: "There's more to this area-"

However, the wind dragged him and his umbrella backwards and he spun around, trying to keep hold of it.

Andi continued trying to speak to the man as host Lorraine Kelly collapsed into a fit of giggles.

"Lovely day in Scotland!" Lorraine quipped and Andi laughed.

"Come here, enjoy it!" Andi joked.

He tried to speak to John but was eventually blown away in the wind.

Thankfully, Lorraine later confirmed that Andi was OK and he returned to present in a place that wasn't quite so windy.

Earlier, Lorraine spoke to Jake Quickenden, who opened up about his thoughts on becoming a dad for the first time.

The Dancing On Ice star beamed on Lorraine today as he expressed his excitement ahead of the birth of his first child with girlfriend Sophie.

Speaking about why he wouldn't be finding out the gender of his child, Jake said: "I think it will be really nice as a surprise to find out on the day."

He added: "Whatever, boy or girl, I'm going to be so excited."

*Lorraine airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV
