VISAKHAPATNAM: Divisional railway manager (DRM) of Waltair Railway Division Anup Satpathy inspected Srikakulam Road railway station in Andhra Pradesh on Friday.
With an aim to provide good quality food to passengers at reasonable rates, Satpathy opened Jan Ahar (People's Food) outlet at Srikakulam Road railway station for public usage.
He took stock of various amenities and facilities provided at the station and ongoing developmental activities.
He inspected the renovated catering units, Jan-ahar, waiting halls and other amenities.
During his inspection, the DRM interacted with the passengers at waiting halls and on the platforms and took their feedback on the facilities.
He was accompanied by senior divisional engineer (Coordination) Pradeep Yadav, senior divisional operations manager G Suneel Kumar, senior divisional commercial manager AK Tripathi and other officials and staff during the inspection.
