VIJAYAWADA: A 19-year-old boy was beaten up by the kin of a minor girl at Gollapalli in Nuzividu mandal in Eluru district on Sunday. The boy fell unconscious after he was manhandled by the father and brother of the girl. He was rushed to Nuzividu government hospital where is being treated.
Nuzividu inspector R Ankababu one P Chandu (19) fell in love with a minor girl studying in tenth standard. He used to follow the girl every day to school and also befriended her. On knowing about the same, the girl’s father warned the boy earlier and the issue was settled between the elders of both the families. However, Chandu continued to follow the girl.
On Sunday, when he was talking to the girl at the school, her father and brother saw them and they started thrashing the boy. During the scuffle, Chandu fell unconscious and the locals rushed him to a hospital. Both the parties have lodged complaints against each other.
