VISAKHAPATNAM: The school education department on Friday advanced the class X (SSC) examinations to April 27-May 9 from the initially announced schedule of May 2-May 13.
According to officials, the clashing of class X exam dates with intermediate exams is the reason behind the change in the schedule. This started with the announcement of the exam dates of joint entrance examination (JEE) main 2022.
The class X examinations will be conducted in seven papers instead of the regular 11. Other than Hindi, the exams in other subjects used to be conducted in two parts/papers every year. But exams in the general science subject would be conducted as usual in two parts - paper-I (physical science) and paper –II (biological science) – even this time.
