Andhra Pradesh: SEB cop injured in attack by brewers in East Godavari

RAJAHMUNDRY: A constable attached to the special enforcement bureau was injured when the SEB team was attacked by arrack brewers in East Godavari district on Thursday.

Razole SEB sub-inspector Raghu, constables Nanaji and Vasamsetty Srinivasudu had gone to conduct raids on illegal arrack trade when they were attacked by a group of six persons, during which constable Vasamsetty was severely injured. He has been admitted to Alamuru government hospital.
