Andhra Pradesh: Probe allegation against N Chandrababu Naidu, says YSRC

Chandrababu Naidu YSRC N Chandrababu Naidu Ambati Rambabu

VIJAYAWADA: YSRC general secretary and MLA Ambati Rambabu on Friday demanded the Centre order an inquiry into the allegations against former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu purchasing Pegasus spyware.

Speaking to media persons, Rambabu said West Bengal chief minister Mamata Bannerjee had made the allegation against Chandrababu Naidu.

He said Banerjee had alleged that the AP government had purchased the spyware when Chandrababu Naidu was chief minister. The YSRC leader said Banerjee is part of Chandrababu Naidu’s team that rallied together before the 2019 elections. He further said Banerjee had made this statement on the floor of the West Bengal assembly.
