Andhra Pradesh: Police arrest four, seize 260 kg ganja in Kadapa district

TIRUPATI: Chinna Chowk police arrested four persons and seized 260 kgs of prohibited ganja from the possession of the accused in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

The accused have been identified as D Ramu (27) and C Teja (20) and K Nageswara Rao (35), who belong to Visakhapatnam district and one Sunkireddy Ranga Reddy (55), a resident of Badvel town in Kadapa.

Chinna Chowk urban PS circle inspector K Aal Reddy and SI G Amarnadh Reddy along with his team who acted on specific information, took the four into custody when they were moving around suspiciously in a vehicle near Vanapalli village on Friday.

After finding out that the gang was roaming around to sell away 260 kgs of ganja concealed inside the vehicle, Chinna Chowk police took them into custody and seized the car along with the prohibited ganja substance after registering a case.
