Andhra Pradesh: One killed, four injured as school bus falls into nullah in Srikakulam

SRIKAKULAM: A student was killed and four others injured when a private school bus lost control and fell into nullah Cheruvu close to Badivanipeta village in Etcherla Mandal in Srikakulam district on Wednesday evening. The deceased student was identified as 8-year-old Mylapalli Raju of Badivanipeta village.

According to sources, A private school bus from Kongara village was coming from Kammapeta to Badivanipeta village when the accident took place. At the time of the incident, five children were on the bus.

The driver lost control over the at a curve and it fell into the nullah cheruvu. Locals rescued children in the school bus belonging to Global School of Kongara village.

The deceased student Mylapalli Raju’s father Ramu is a fisherman working as migrant labourer in Gujarat. Etcherla cops are investigating the case.
