VIJAYAWADA: Police have arrested the accused in the case in which a truck accidentally hit and damaged the NTR statue in Gudlavalleru of Krishna district. Police confirmed there is no political angle to the incident which was just an accident.
According to police, on Thursday morning, locals informed them that the NTR statue was hit by a speeding lorry. Immediately, police rushed to the spot and examined the CCTV visuals.
Later, cops arrested the truck driver Abdul Hafeez. The incident happened accidentally and there is no political angle to it, police added.
