Andhra Pradesh: Nara Lokesh's padayatra enters into undivided Visakha district

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary and former minister Nara Lokesh’s padayatra entered into the undivided Visakhapatnam district in the late night of Monday after completing the East Godavari yatra. He unveiled the pylon of the 3000-kilometer milestone at Rajula Kotturu. He completed it on 219 th day, Sunday at Tetagunta in Tuni Assembly Constituency.

Lokesh started his padayatra from Kuppam on January 27 of this year and reached 3006 km by crossing 92 assembly constituencies. His wife Nara Brahmani, son Dewansh, and co-brother Sribharat of Gitam University, besides his brother-in-law Mokshajna and TDP leaders, participated in the pylon unveiling program. He assured that Anna Canteens would be reopened in the state. Lokesh promised the Kapu leaders at Tuni that TDP would implement 5% of Kapu reservations without any harm to the BC reservations.

Lokesh’s padayatra entered into the undivided Visakhapatnam district at Payakaraopet late at night on Monday by crossing the Tandava Bridge, where Payakaraopet Assembly Constituency in charge Vangalapudi Anita, former ministers Ashok Gajapati Raju, Ayyanna Patrudu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Kala Venkat Rao MLAs Bendalam Ashok and TDP cadres gave him a warm welcome at Tandava Bridge and party leaders and former ministers Pattipati Pulla Rao, KS Jawahar, Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa and leader Jyothula Nehru, Kondababu, Yanamala Divya, Jyothula Naveen and others of East Godavari district gave send off to him.

Unemployed youth met with Lokesh at PL Puram and explained to him that youth in their village have remained unemployed even though they have Hetero Drugs, Deccan Chemicals, and others in the vicinity of their village. They said that they gave lands to the companies, which have not given jobs to them.
