VIJAYAWADA: In a bid to reach remote tribal areas, the Krishna district administration is deploying mobile vaccination and Covid-19 awareness units. District collector J Nivas on Monday inaugurated Covid-19 ‘express’ vehicles that are equipped to carry out vaccination.
Mega vaccination drives at ward and village secretariats have seen a huge response from the public. But many residents of urban slums and remote areas are yet to come forward and get vaccinated. The administration hopes to overcome concerns surrounding vaccination through the mobile teams, which will include healthcare experts.
