Andhra Pradesh logs 483 Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday reported 483 Covid-19 cases taking the tally to over 20.61 lakh while the toll stood at 14317 with four casualties.

Chittoor district accounted for the highest number of cases with 120 followed by Krishna with 81, a state government bulletin said, providing details of the last 24 hours ending 9 AM today.

The number of active cases was 5, 654.

East Godavari District topped the chart with 1200 active cases followed by Chittoor-920.

The total number of cases in the state stood at 20,61,287, while with 534 people being cured, the total recoveries are at 20,41,316.

Over 40 thousand samples were tested on Tuesday. Cumulatively, over 2.90 crore samples have been tested.
