Andhra Pradesh: Land free for investors to set up super speciality hospitals

AMARAVATI: In an attempt to attract top healthcare institutions to the state, the government has decided to offer several sops to investors. The government has promised to grant five acres of land worth between Rs 50 crore and Rs 100 crore free to investors, who would set up healthcare institutions with a minimum outlay of Rs 100 crore.

The government would also offer several other incentives to investors in the healthcare industry in order to promote superspeciality hospitals in the state.

The state government has already identified prime land close to 16 major corporation cities in the state and earmarked them for setting up health-hubs. The state government has named Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) as the nodal agency to tie-up with healthcare providers.
