Andhra Pradesh: Kurnool Police recovers valuables worth Rs 1.04 cr, arrests two thieves

TIRUPATI: Kurnool Police in Andhra Pradesh arrested two notorious thieves wanted in connection with multiple house break-ins reported at various police stations in the district and recovered stolen gold jewellery worth Rs 1.04 crore on Wednesday.

Police recovered stolen gold jewellery, weighing 60 tolas, worth Rs 80.60 lakh in connection with a house break-in reported at the Kurnool Taluk police station, 37 tolas of gold worth Rs.18.5 lakh in connection with a house break-in reported at the Kodumur police station and 10.5 tolas of gold worth Rs 5 lakh in connection to a theft reported at the Kurnool 4 town police station limits recently.

Kurnool Police has booked the duo under various sections of the IPC and has also opened suspect sheets against them.
