Bengaluru-based industrialist D.K. Srinivas, son of former MP and former TTD chairman Audikesavulu Naidu and former MLA Satyaprabha, has brushed aside as “wild rumours” the talk doing the rounds in the political circles about his re-entry into active politics.
As part of the Telugu Desam Party’s 40th Foundation Day celebrations on Tuesday, the gossip had surfaced that the party would pit him as its candidate from the Tirupati Assembly constituency.
Mr. Srinivas had been in politics for a few years about a decade ago before getting back to his family business. He explained that he was focussing only on his businesses, and called for an end to this speculation.
