Andhra Pradesh governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan worships at Tirumala temple

TIRUPATI : Andhra Pradesh governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara on the auspicious annual Brahmotsavams eve at Tirumala on Monday.

TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy and EO AV Dharma Reddy along with temple officials and priests extended a traditional welcome to the AP Governor on his arrival at the main entrance of the hill temple.

After worshipping the presiding deity inside the sanctum sanctorum for a brief while, the AP Governor reached the Ranganayakula Mandapam where the Veda Asirvachanam was rendered by the Veda pundits.

Later TTD's 2023 new year calendars and diaries were presented to the AP Governor.

Meanwhile, TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy formally met union minister for Panchayat Raj and rural development Giriraj Singh who arrived on a 2-day pilgrimage to Tirumala on Monday.

Tirupati MP Dr M Gurumoorthy and others were present.
