Andhra Pradesh: Fake TTE arrested from express train

RPF Rajahmundry Vijayawada

VIJAYAWADA: Rajahmundry RPF arrested a fake TTE on Friday while he was ‘checking’ tickets in Alapuzha-Dhanbad express.

The miscreant, identified as Vayila Venkateswarlu from Nellore, is a habitual offender and was arrested four times earlier in similar crimes.

RPF found the man in TTE uniform and collecting money from ticketless passengers between Rajahmundry and Dwarapudi sections and giving them fake receipts. He was found to be carrying a fake ID card as doctor at Apollo Hospitals.
