Ex-chair names persons responsible for his death
"Not a single Jatara (folk festival) could be performed during my two years stint as the chairman because of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. I requested Senthil Anna (RESCO chairman) but he bluntly rejected claiming that Peddayana (a senior leader of the party) will not agree. I was stripped of the chairmanship despite my repeated pleas to allow me to lead at least one folk festival," Parthasarathy said in the selfie video in which he named a few people as responsible for his death.
Meanwhile, Parthasarathy's brother Karthik alleged that Senthil was responsible for the suicide.
When contacted, Senthil Kumar told TOI that he was no way responsible for Parthasarathy's suicide. "In fact I tried my best to convince the senior minister of the district to extend Parthasarathy's tenure as Tirupati Gangamamba temple's chairman but he refused", Senthil Kumar said.
