VIJAYAWADA: Industry major Electrosteel Castings Limited will invest 1,000 crore to establish its ductile iron pipes manufacturing unit in Srikalahasti of Chittoor district.
Electrosteel Castings Limited managing director Umang Kejriwal and chief operating officer Suresh Khandelwal met chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Tadepalli camp office on Wednesday. They told the chief minister that they have decided to invest 1,000 crore to manufacture 0.5 million tons of ductile iron pipes per annum. They congratulated the chief minister for his programme of Nadu-Nedu through which health and education sectors have improved.
The chief minister thanked them for their investment proposal.
