Andhra Pradesh: Dry, liquid ganja worth Rs 50 lakh seized in Anakapalle

VISAKHAPATNAM: Narsipatnam rural police seized 2 kg of liquid ganja and 6 kg of dry ganja near Gurramdarapalem in Anakapalle district.

Police arrested Sk Karrimulla from Guntur who had come to Gurramdarapalem to procure the cannabis. Two persons who came to hand him over the ganja were also nabbed.

In another incident, police seized over 1,500 kg of dry ganja worth over 50 lakh near Varahapuram village under Chidikada mandal in Anakapalle district. The ganja smugglers managed to flee from the spot.
