VISAKHAPATNAM: A married constable attached to the anti-naxal force Greyhounds committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling at his home in PM Palem on Thursday allegedly following a love affair with another woman.
The deceased was Suresh Kumar of Rampachodavaram in East Godavari.
The AP Special Police (APSP) constable married a woman from Razole town six years ago. The couple have a daughter. However, Suresh entered into a relationship with another woman at PM Palem by concealing the fact that he was already married.
He sought his wife’s permission to marry the other woman too. She rejected the proposal and differences developed between them. Recently, she went to her native place Razole.
Meanwhile, Suresh’s lover came to know about his marriage and started avoiding him.
