VIJAYAWADA: Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will credit Rs 490.86 crore into the accounts of 3,27,244 women beneficiaries under YSR Kapu Nestham on Thursday.
This is the second consecutive year that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is pumping Rs 15,000 towards financial assistance to women from Kapu community to start self-employment activity.
The government state would pay Rs 75,000 to each of these women beneficiaries in the age group of 45-60 years in a span of five years.
The scheme was launched by Jagan Mohan Reddy on June 24, 2020, where in the first phase, Rs 491.02 crore was credited in the bank accounts of 3,27,349 eligible women beneficiaries.
