TIRUPATI: A seven-member inter-ministerial central team appointed by the Union government on the request of the Andhra Pradesh government inspected the flood-affected areas in Chittoor district on Saturday.
Kunal Satyarthi from the ministry of home affairs, Abhey Kumar from the finance ministry, Dr K Manoharan from the department of agriculture, Srinivasu Bairy from the water resources department, Shivani sharma from the ministry of power, Shravan Kumar Singh from the ministry of roadways and Anil Kumar Singh from the ministry of rural development are part of the inter-ministerial central team who inspected the flooded farmlands, damaged check dams, national highways etc at various places in Chandragiri assembly and other constituencies in Chittoor district on Saturday.
The Chittoor district collector briefed the central team about the overall loss.
