VISAKHAPATNAM: State BJP secretary, Lokula Gandhi, passed away early on Saturday morning after suffering with viral fever.
Gandhi (34) of Paderu, Visakha ttibal area, was attracted towards BJP and joined the party. He contested from Paderru assembly segment.
Gandhi was an IITian. He had pursued engineering and joined government job. Later, he resigned from the job and joined politics.
Gandhi actively participated in many welfare programmes in tribal areas and helped many tribals in the backward area.
After learning the news, state BJP president Somu Verraju said that BJP has lost a great leader from tribal belt.
