VIJAYAWADA: A 15-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by her uncle in Nellore district.
The incident came to light on Monday after parents took her to a local doctor after she was suffering from nausea and found out that she was pregnant.
Upon inquiring, the girl revealed that her maternal uncle had been raping her for the past five months.
Family members lodged a complaint with police who registered a case under relevant sections of POCSO Act 2012. The accused has been taken into custody for questioning. Further investigation is on.
