Andersonstown crash between motorbike and van leaves person in hospital

A person has been taken to hospital after a motorcycle and van crashed in West Belfast.

The collision happened on St Agnes Drive, off the Andersonstown Road, at around 10.10am on Monday, July 5.

Ambulance services took one person to hospital for treatment of injuries. These are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.

In an update just after midday, police confirmed they were still at the scene of the crash.

Trafficwatch NI said delays are ongoing, and that road users should "please approach with care".

A statement from PSNI said: "Police are currently in attendance following the report of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a van on St Agnes Drive, west Belfast at around 10.10 am this morning.

"One person has been taken to hospital by the NIAS for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life threatening at this stage."
