Anderson Anderson Brown tops our dealmakers table

Anderson Anderson & Brown has been named as Scotland's most prolific deal-making accountant in the first half of 2019.

Scottish Business Insider's latest figures revealed the firm as having completed the most deals in the six months from January to June 2019, at 21 with a total value of £1.8 million. AAB has topped the table for volume of deals every year since 2005.

Second was Johnston Carmichael , with 15 deals worth a total of £80.68 million.

The top accountancy dealmaker in terms of value was global business consultant KPMG , who advised on 11 deals in Scotland worth a total of £101.66 million.

AAB's top deals included DC Thomson Media’s acquisition of PSP Media, equity fundraising for the Scottish Stock Exchange, the disposal of Rainbow Services to Grosvenor Health and Social Care, the merger of Inspire Catering with CH&Co’s Scottish operations, the disposal of Apollo Offshore to Global Energy Group and the disposal of Independent Oilfield Services to WellConnection Group.
