Ander Herrera 'agrees pre-contract' deal with Champions League rivals

Ander Herrera has reportedly agreed to sign for Paris Saint-Germain this summer after growing frustrated with Manchester United ’s offer of new long-term deal.

United are refusing to buckle under Herrera’s £200,000-a-week wage demands — despite PSG’s attempts to land the Spanish midfielder on a free.

Herrera, 29, is out of contract at the end of the season and wants a huge hike to his current £130,000-a-week salary to stay with the Old Trafford giants.

United are prepared to hand him around £170,000-a-week – including bonuses.

But, as revealed by Mirror Sport , the former Athletic Bilbao enforcer is holding out for better terms after being approached by French champions PSG.

He wants a deal that, with bonuses included, will take him close to the £200,000-a-week mark.

And the Daily Record has claimed that United’s refusal to meet his demands has led to the Spaniard making a decision over his future.

It is reported that the Old Trafford favourite has agreed a pre-contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

Should this prove true, it will be a setback for recently-appointed full-time boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has been impressed with Herrera, and was hopeful he would commit his future to the European giants.

Speaking last week, he said: "Let's hope club and player find an agreement.

"Ander has been very good since I came in. We will have a strong squad next season and we want the best players."
