ExtremeTech has reviewed SafeType's vertical keyboard in the first of what looks like being a fascinating series. Comment: "Just about every computer comes factory equipped with a standard flat QWERTY keyboard," says the article. Having visited a couple of European PC factories I can say this is not strictly true. Machines roll off the lines with at least a dozen different keyboard layouts, and with large markets to supply in France and Germany, they certainly don't all start with qwerty....
