And Just Like That divides fans as Miranda and Che go through relationship struggles

And Just Like That has continued to divide loyal Sex and the City fans with their latest episode of the rebooted series.

The newly released ninth episode sees Charlotte York Goldenblatt (played by Kristin Davis) announce she has 'finally' started menopause after not getting her period for four months.

A very 'smug' Charlotte tells her pals she hasn't felt any of the usual symptoms of 'hot flashes, breast tenderness or brain fog'.

She was happy when she thought she no longer had periods but, in awkward scenes, suddenly gets a 'flash' period while out and about dressed in an all-white jumpsuit.

At the time, she was helping out her friend Miranda Hobbes (played by Cynthia Nixon) at a women's shelter.

Meanwhile, Miranda has been going through issues of her own as she goes through relationship obstacles with romantic interest Che.

Che Diaz is a non-binary comedian who hosts a podcast with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).

They are played by Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez.

Miranda tries to impress them with her presence and a box of cookies but Che seemed confused by her sudden appearance.

They asked: "Oh god did we have a plan? Did I space?" Che admitted they felt 'awkward' about it before Miranda questions them whether they have someone over.

Che was spending the evening writing and said they wish Miranda would have called or texted first.

"I'm gone - this never happened. I never should have come, so f***ing stupid. Who do I think I am? F***ing Meg Ryan," a hurt Miranda says while running off.

Confused, Che asked what was happening and Miranda added: "I don't know, I don't know why I did this. If you were a guy I had just started seeing I would never turn up on your doorstep unannounced with cookies."

Che admits that the relationship isn't going to work which shocks Miranda.

"Please just let me finish my thought, this isn't going to work if you lock us into those f***ing limiting relationship tropes, guys do this and girlfriends do that... I'm not cosplay," they explain.

Fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the ninth episode, with some saying it was an amazing episode.

"This episode of #AndJustLikeThat is probably its best one so far," one user said. "The characters have generally "settled down" in a way and are doing well (even Che and Miranda, who are finally honest this time), with their own share of misadventures."

Another enjoyed the episode but wasn't too fond of some scenes: "This episode was actually not that bad of you ignore the Miranda and Che scenes."

"miranda and che's relationship is a s**tshow and not enjoyable AT ALL, there, I said it," one said.

Speaking of Charlotte's scene in a white jumpsuit, one fan wrote: "As soon as I saw Charlotte in that white jumpsuit, I just knew..."

"Charlotte was wearing just too much white this episode and asking for her period to show up again," another added.
